Project Highlights

From local collabs with vendors to Grammy-Award winning artists, we’ve been humbly blessed to create some cookie spreads through the years!

We’re Only Human

Life is a constant juggle. Becoming a mom of two later than expected in my life, being neck deep in postpartum, running a business, and still trying to Mary-Poppins myself to be practically perfect in every way, I constantly felt like I’m failing. Most days I find the joy, but others I feel like I am failing. Then I am reminded that He works in ways that prepare me for moments like this.

On a random morning before we were set to have a mini-getaway with my family, I received a quick turn-around request to create a couple sets for local Seattle and Grammy-award-winning artist, Brandi Carlile. I literally dropped everything; shifted schedules and moved (what felt like on my end) mountains that day because there was no way I was going to miss this opportunity to present MY edible art to THE Brandi Carlile!

After all was designed, baked, created, and photographed, I delivered my set promptly before her flight. We made it to our family getaway and I was reflecting hard of what just happened to me in a matter of 36 hours: just when I felt like I could not handle anymore on my plate or get through, He showed me I could. It’s not about being perfect, it’s about being present. After all, we’re only human.

Supa Dupa Fly

There is only one. The avant-garde Grammy Award winning artist herself: Missy Misdemeanor Elliott! One of the most memorable requests we ever received was during the middle of the 2020 world pandemic. Life and work around us had come to a complete stand still, but a dreary pandemic could not stop some important life celebrations! Missy would be celebrating her big 5-0 and she had just found out she would be receiving a Hollywood Star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame!

Sometimes in the middle of uncertainty, opportunistic blessings present themselves as little reminders that things just might be okay ☺️

Soapsuds are my Best Buds

Common phrases we learned as kids were being flashed all over our the television: “Wash your hands!” and “Don’t touch your face!” along with “Stay home. Stay safe.” to coincide with our Seattle governor’s stay-at-home mandate at the very beginning of the pandemic.

Knowing we could bring a little cheer and smile to frontline workers through a cookie amidst COVID-19 was more than we could have asked for, but who knew it would give us a chance to be featured on one of the coolest lifestyle shows in Seattle!

Spreading that Local Love

We have some remarkably talented and hardworking artists that are top notch at their craft here in the Pacific Northwest. From local bakers to photographers and event planners, we have been blessed to have collaborated with such brilliant souls! They may tell us that they are in awe of our creations, but being in their presence while handing off their cookies leaves us speechless at times!

Collaboration over competition is how you grow with your community. Not only do you build a network, but you become part of a remarkably talented family that together, all types of dreams can come to fruition!
